To help bring awareness of America's colorful railroad heritage to the public, and to celebrate America's 250th birthday, Wisconsin Chapter, NRHS is partnering with the Soo Line Historical & Technical Association and Steam Locomotive Heritage Association to fire up Soo Line 2-8-2 1003 for a day. The locomotive, with period freight cars, will operate from Hartford to Burnett and return - and you are invited to come out and enjoy the show! Full information is in the press release
